Wholesale pocket bikes have come of age. They’ve been sweeping Europe and Japan for more than 5 years and are now attracting an ever growing and curious group of sports-minded cycling enthusiasts all over the United States. The first prototype bikes were very expensive because manufacturers were designing, redesigning, riding them for many hours and then retesting them again in various ways using higher-end brakes, frames, wheels, and expensive parts to make the bikes as near perfect as they could . The cost of the parts and hundreds of man hours of testing and riding and retesting drove the prices up to the point that the cost was too expensive or prohibitive for most consumers.

Fortunately for consumers today, manufacturers had found a way to cut the costs of these pocket bikes by using the same sound building principals the founding designers started with. They use the same engineering principles that give the bikes their popularity but in a more technologically advanced way, thus bringing the costs down and making them more affordable to consumers.
